Price Ranges were introduced into FIFA 14 Ultimate Team during March, 2014. The introduction caused outrage at first as users saw their expensive FUT players devalue overnight. Many argued that it made trading harder. However, 1 and a half years later they seem to have become the norm. Players now sell between their minimum and maximum values, meaning it’s much more difficult to accidentally list a player cheap on the Transfer Market. EA regularly update player price ranges to reflect their current demand and supply.
