For LIVE FUT 14 Updates:
EA have also just confirmed that your consumables pile will be UNLIMITED in FIFA 14 Ultimate Team! Below you can see a short description and image of the newly added formations in FUT 14:
The new 4-2-3-1 variation allows you to utilize your Left Midfielder (LM) / Right Midfielder (RM) instead of your Central Attacking Midfielders (CAM’s).
A more defensive variation of the classic 4-4-2! Two Central Defensive Midfielders (CDM’s) now replace the usual Central Midfielders (CM’s).
This variation of the popular 4-1-2-1-2 formation switches the players out wide for Central Midfielders (CM’s) to play with a Central Defensive Midfielder (CDM).
The 4-1-4-1 utilizes a sweeping Central Defensive Midfielder (CDM) in place of the usual 2 Strikers (ST’s). You maintain width with two natural Wingers (LM/RM) to link up with your lone Striker (ST).
This new FUT formation helps bolster the midfield by adding 3 Central Midfielders (CM’s) making it harder to break down on the counter and leaves less gaps in attack.
4-3-3 (2) “Hold”:
This new 4-3-3 variation adds a holding Central Defensive Midfielder (CDM).
4-3-3 (3) “Defend”:
This defensive variation of the 4-3-3 offers two holding Central Defensive Midfielders (CDM’s) and one Central Midfielder (CM).
4-3-3 (4) “Attack”:
This more attacking variation of the 4-3-3 allows for a Central Attacking Midfielder (CAM) to support to front three instead of a Central Midfielder (CM).
4-3-3 (5) “False 9″:
The final variation offer a deeper Center Forward (CF) to hold up the ball, allowing your midfielders to join the attack! A Center Forward (CF) that can hold up the ball well would be made for this role!
