Another new feature to FIFA 13 is Complete Dribbling; this includes an array of new developments, which will help add a better flow and fluidity to the game. The first of these is 360-degree mobility, this will allow for far more variation when moving with the ball and allow you to dribble with more flair and realism. A key part to complete dribbling is the separation between a player’s face and the direction in which they move with the ball. This creates new behaviors in the game, such as the ability to move backwards whilst facing forwards.
Complete dribbling also helps when taking on players, an example of this is the fact that you will now be able to face up an opposing player and take the ball past them with a quick burst of pace. These new dribbling techniques will preserve momentum within the game, making dribbling with the ball feel noticeably more fluid. Other improvements such as Precision Dribbling 2.0 and an improved shielding system have also been included.
Below is a summary of the areas covered in this feature:
- 360-degree mobility
- Separation of face and movement
- New behaviors within the game
- Facing up players (beating them with a burst of pace)
- Preserves momentum
- Fluid dribbling
- Precision dribbling 2.0
- Improved shielding
